Potential Draft Targets:
Reuben Bain, Lee Hunter, Landon Robinson, Zane Durant, Chris McClellan
What to Watch For:
With defensive line seemingly being one of the stronger points of a weak roster, the Titans could still look to the draft and free agency for some quality depth and rotational pieces. Jeffery Simmons is the best player on the team and arguably the best defensive lineman in the league and you pair him with T'Vondre Sweat, you have arguably the best interior duo in the league. There are questions about Sweat's every down ability but I think people forget just how athletic and talented he really is. Some have concerns about his fit in Saleh's defensive scheme, as he doesn't fit the typical mold but again, I think people are underestimating how uber talented this kid is.
I believe the Titans should look to bring back SJD in free agency and you can honestly never have too many defensive lineman. There could be some late round gems to be had as well with a guy like Landon Robinson who is hyper athletic but a little undersized. I also like Cam Horsley's potential, although he never was really able to break through this season. Adding super athletic rotational pieces like a Landon Robinson or Zane Durant, later on in the draft should make this a quality unit and can make up for the lack of depth currently at EDGE. Yes, I do understand that Reuben Bain is an EDGE rusher but I believe he has the ability to line up all over the defensive line.
