What to Watch For:
Continuity is key on the offensive line and I believe that is part of the reason the line has been a revolving door over the past few years. We will be returning 4 of 5 starters along the offensive line with some key depth pieces. I have Lloyd Cushenberry listed as a cut candidate, only for the fact that injuries have hampered his 2 years here, along with the fact that Mike Borgonzi has shown the willingness to move off of guys Ran Carthon brought in, but my opinion is that they should keep him. I think Corey Levin and Jackson Slater can battle it out for the starting RG job with Kevin Zeitler on his way out and potentially to retirement. I also would not mind bringing in some of the free agent guys listed above as all of these guys have first round pedigree and a change of scenery could definitely help. If anything, it helps provide depth and competition to positions that have been weak points for the past few years. Turning a weakness to one of the teams strength and helping your franchise QB in the process should be very enticing.
Personally, I would look to add a free agent like Alijah Vera Tucker, who obviously has the Robert Saleh connection. He would make a ton of sense, while adding a developmental option at Tackle or Guard later on in the draft. Extending Skoronski should absolutely be a priority going into this offseason as he played an All Pro level this year.
