When looking at this years RB class, you can't help but notice 20-30 guys that are going to make NFL rosters and I have starting grades on my top 8. This class is so good that I would not mind double dipping into RB and you probably have 2 guys that are going to not only make the roster but give you instant valuable touches. I only went 20 deep but I have some fun comparisons for you guys!
Ashton Jeanty (Boise State)
Pro Comp: Maurice Jones Drew
Jeanty is an elite prospect. He has elite contact balance and is bulldozer through would be tacklers. When you watch his film, you consistently see him make something out of nothing for chunk gains. He is up there with the Bijan Robinson's and Saquon Barkley of prospects.
TreVeyon Henderson (Ohio St)
Pro Comp: Bigger Devon Achane/less explosive Jahmyr Gibbs
I believe that I'm higher than most on Henderson. I don't think he is far off of Jeanty as a prospect and he is a big play waiting to happen that is not scared to lay the boom. He has made an impact since his freshman season and would have put up ridiculous numbers had he not split carries with Judkins.
Cam Skattebo (Arizona St)
Pro Comp: Kyren Williams
Skattebo is one of those guys that many probably moved down the board because he isn't a 4.4 guy but many did the same thing with Kyren Wiliams. Now Kyren Williams is a 1000 yard rusher on one of the best teams in the league. Don't make the same mistake with Skattebo. I even think he has a little more juice than Kyren.
Quinshon Judkins (Ohio St)
Trevor Etienne (Georgia)
Kaleb Johnson (Iowa)
DJ Giddens (Kansas St)
Omarion Hampton (North Carolina)
Pro Comp: Javonte Williams pre injury
I know it seems like an easy comparison since they both hail from UNC but the running styles are so similar. Hampton has bellcow potential but to be higher on my list, I need a little more explosiveness. I'm lower than the consensus on him but I still think he is a good starter in the league.
Jaydon Blue (Texas)
Damien Martinez (Miami)
Ollie Gordon (Oklahoma St)
Pro Comp: TJ Yeldon
Brashard Smith (SMU)
Pro Comp: Tyjae Spears but a better receiver
Bhayshul Tuten (Virginia Tech)
Jordan James (Oregon)
Jarquez Hunter (Arkansas)
Devin Neal (Kansas)
Dylan Sampson (Tennessee)
RJ Harvey (UCF)
Tahj Brooks (Texas Tech)
Donovan Edwards (Michigan)
TreVeyon Henderson easily the best in the draft.
